Overage and prepaid
Committing is cheaper than not committing, deliberately. Consumption order is monthly allotment, then overage, then prepaid — and prepaid balances do not expire.

What a call costs
Credit cost is fixed per tool regardless of what a call costs us to serve. You bought a ranked list of what is rising; you received one.

Limits that stop a loop
Per-key spend caps
Every key carries its own credit ceiling for the period, checked server-side before a call runs.
Overage is a purchase
Overage never accrues silently. When the allotment runs out, the loop stops until someone buys more.
Empty pulls are free
If every source is quiet or unreachable and a pull returns nothing, nothing is charged.
